My Story

My name is Cloë Neophytou and I am the creator of Powerzen by Cloë. If you want to get into the best shape of your life, build a champion mindset to thrive in LIFE, you’ve come to the right place.

Anything and everything is possible if you can see it in your mind.

I coach and mentor visionary women predominantly into the best shape of their lives, and creating a new positive relationship with their mind and body with less effort and more fun.

Since becoming a mother, the approach “Do less, but do it better” really started coming alive for not only myself, but my clients too. I master what I teach and seeing the results unfold in my clients is the most fulfilling feeling, which I used to believe would only come if I personally competed at the Olympics.

I have had the pleasure of working with over a handful of Olympians and professional athletes helping improve their performance and mindset in and outside of sports. My superpower is teaching super efficient mindful movement and creating a champion mindset. The mindfulness aspect is generally missing in exercise and that’s where my workouts are very unique as it’s amongst the foundation of every workout. It doesn’t have to be confusing, it’s quite simple. I do this using a blend of mindfulness, pilates, athletics and strength training.

Throwback to childhood…I was that 12 year old kid walking around with a t-shirt that said “Personal Trainer…drop and give me 20”. I was winning school sports day events from a very young age and was scouted into a talent program in high school where my love for sports & fitness really developed.

I also had a few rebellious years in high school, which involved a lot of alcohol, bad decisions, drugs and negative people, without getting into all the gory details! I am now so grateful for it as it really opened up my eyes to who I am NOT, and what I really want for myself. The power of contrast, right?

Once I gained clarity my entire life changed, and at 17 years old I started positive habits of getting up at 530am to catch the bus to the gym, my mum and sister thought I was nuts.

I had my eyes set on becoming a personal trainer from the moment I stepped foot in a gym, the positive people who uplifted each other was a place I wanted to be.

It was at my first job, where I was introduced the man who really changed my life, my coach of now 9 years. I still call it fate to this day (long story…message me for the full one!) This is where my dreams started manifesting.

From the moment we started training together I knew it was ALL I wanted to do. SO…I made a bold yet confident decision to become a full time athlete with dreams of the Olympic games Rio 2016. From that moment onwards, discipline, consistency and patience were my best friends. 5-6 days per week 2-3 hours per session I was with my coach, that’s over 300 days per year! What I learnt from him, changed my entire life in and outside of sports…this is what shaped me as a coach, a mentor. He taught me, what I now teach clients…How to do as little as necessary NOT as much as possible. ALWAYS finding the simplest efficient way to get to your destination and that mindset really does contribute 80-90% of your success.

In 2014 I fell pregnant and moved to France to be with my dude (who was playing professional rugby) which was the scariest change in my life. I put my running to the side as I didn’t feel supported with my current reality of being pregnant and having had such big dreams.

Being pregnant helped me get a new perspective and clarity. I realized I had created an entire identity that I actually disliked, and so I decided I would not be returning to the sport.

To my surprise, after I had my son, I began to feel an urge to run again as I’d begun helping a few athletes with their mindset and body connection, which inspired me to try after so many months of niggling pains. I wasn’t sure if it was even possible to be as fit as I was or look how I did but I was ready to feel good and feel me again, to feel energised and fit again. I wanted stimulation outside of being a mum!

I decided I wanted to be HAPPY.

So, I began slowly building a base foundation of core, back and glute stability/strength and really connecting with my mind. I decided to really focus on my controllables, repeat uplifting affirmations non stop whilst training to keep me positive…for months I repeated them in the rain, ice or shine. I was getting stronger and faster. By 3 months I was faster than I’d ever been! By 15 months I was in the best shape of my life, faster than i’d ever been and I was DOING LESS and enjoying my life so much more. I was AMAZED and I was really loving the process, I loved having a new found purpose and drive to be the best I could for myself and my son.
This is when I understood that it wasn’t all about winning and being physically fit or gaining recognition from outside sources…it’s about creating a beautiful mind-body connection to create joy and happiness in life! Total life-changing realisation! So now, my main focus with clients is building a super strong base foundation of mind and body because that is where the magic begins.
